Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality fabrication and welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or arc welding techniques
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
• Use jigs, fixtures, and specialized tools to shape and assemble metal components
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures in the workshop
• Conduct continuous quality control inspections to meet fabrication standards
• Assist with general ad-hoc workshop responsibilities as required
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in agricultural or industrial environments
• Proven ability to work with various metals and welding methods
• Sound knowledge of safety protocols in a workshop/fabrication setting
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
