• We’re on the hunt for a Warehouse Manager whose part strategist, part stock whisperer, and fully committed to keeping our warehouse humming and our products flowing.

What’s the Gig?

• You’ll oversee receiving, storing, and distributing products like a logistics ninja—swift, precise, and always a step ahead. From monitoring stock accuracy to ensuring trucks roll out on time, you’ll be the person who makes “on-time, in full” a daily reality.

Your Day-to-Day Missions (aka KPAs):

• Oversee all warehouse operations: receiving, space allocation, stock storage, and distribution.
• Plan and execute daily and weekly distribution loads in line with demand planning and customer schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with FIFO disciplines, export regulations, and country-specific load requirements.
• Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and address discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Implement strong stock control procedures to reduce waste, overages, and stock aging issues.
• Enforce and monitor adherence to Food Safety (FSSC 22000) and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, pest-free warehouse with high standards of hygiene and order.
• Lead and manage a team of supervisors and operators, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Conduct ERP stock movement tracking, ensuring full traceability and system accuracy.
• Compile and present daily/weekly/monthly warehouse KPIs and operational performance reports.
• Investigate late deliveries, over/underloads, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve.
• Act as the point of escalation for quality or stock issues, engaging with procurement, quality, and production teams.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive warehouse efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Ensure effective use of storage space, especially in high-traffic and seasonal peak periods.
• Support audits, ensure warehouse documentation is up to date, and provide traceable records of stock movement.
• Participate in staff selection, onboarding, and compliance training programs.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Grade 12 (non-negotiable)
• 5+ years managing a high-volume warehouse (FMCG or Manufacturing preferred)
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Tech-savvy: ERP/WMS systems, Excel, Word & BI dashboards
• Deep knowledge of stock flow, traceability, and inventory control

Bonus Points For:

• A Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics
• Certification in Food Safety or Occupational Health & Safety
• Experience in export handling and country-specific loading rules
• KPI kung-fu and a continuous improvement mindset
