Purpose of the Job:
- Macmillan Education South Africa is seeking to appoint an experienced professional to the position of TVET Marketing and Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will support the marketing and administrative functions within the TVET division, ensuring smooth coordination of campaigns, events, and operational tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma, preferably in Marketing, Communication, English or Humanities
- Strong communication and excellent writing skills
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Able to multi-task
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity
- Able to competently use office productivity software
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate marketing content, adapting raw information into text suitable for adverts, social media posts, brochures or leaflets
- Ensure that the TVET website is updated monthly with new content
- Manage social media campaigns to ensure that posts are aligned with the marketing plan
- Assist with production of catalogues, brochures & leaflets
- Attend and report back at Marketing Meetings & circulate minutes
- Manage the distribution of sample copies during the year
- Co-ordinate sponsorships in consultation with Sales Manager & update spreadsheet to record details
- Co-ordinate the procurement of promotional items for sponsorships and marketing in consultation with Sales Manager
- Manage logistics related to workshops & webinars
- Manage logistics related to marketing videos
- Check when orders will be delivered and update customers
- Complete contracts for workshop presentations and material development using a standard template
- Complete contracts for Special Needs students using a standard template
- Update database regularly with supplier information
- Complete payment requisitions for Sales Manager to authorize
