The mission of the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health is to develop a sustainable, coordinated and comprehensive health system at all levels, based on the primary health care approach through the district health system.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
- Matric Certificate or Grade 12 (Senior certificate)
- Registration certificate that allows registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Current Registration with SANC (2024)
RECOMMENDATION:
- One (01) Year experience as a Staff Nurse
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide assistance in provision of preventative and promotive services that addresses the health needs of school-going children
- Supervise Community Health Worker’s and Data captures on site
- Provide health education where necessary
- Vaccination of eligible girls
- Observation of Immunized learners
- Network with relevant stakeholders and sustain partnership in school health service delivery.
