RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To oversee and manage the Logistics Department’s Stores Services for the maintenance workshop, ensuring the supply of maintenance spares and other commodities as required by the Department of Facilities Management – Technical Services, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant National 3-year Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience OR Grade 12 with at least 5 years relevant experience in:
- Management and supervision;
- Supplying and issuing stock;
- Materials and logistics management;
- Store administration, record keeping, and stock control.
- A valid driver’s license.
ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
7 years’ experience in one or more of the following:
- Materials and Logistics Management,
- Provision of stock for maintenance workshops,
- Creating catalogue items in ERP systems,
- Safety training,
- Supervision/management of staff,
- Computerised stock control systems,
- Management of stores.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
