Job Description
- BKB is currently in search of a creative and skilled Marketing and Content Coordinator with a background in agriculture and auctioneering. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and publishing high-quality content across all platforms – including social media, website, digital channels and auction reporting tools – to drive visibility, engagement and growth.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 with 3 years’ relevant experience
- Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management
- Proficiency in MS office applications, Canva, Adobe Suite and video editing software
- Must be fully bilingual; must be fully conversant in Afrikaans and English
Valid driver’s license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create engaging content (photos, videos, reels, graphics and text) for auctions, Livestock events, and rural stories
- Market and promote upcoming auctions on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp Channel and our website
- Develop and compile auction reports for distribution (online and internally)
- Manage the social media calendar and respond to messages and comments to drive community engagement
- Keep the website and digital platforms up to date with current auctions, reports, and news
- Work closely with auctioneering and livestock teams to source content ideas and ensure consistent messaging
- Stay informed on digital trends, particularly in the agri and auction industry
