Requirements:
- 3+ Years’ proven experience as a Maintenance Coordinator.
- Valid South African Passport.
- Excellent employment references.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Any courses in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, Asset Management, CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) Training, Health and Safety Certificate (e.g., NOSA, NEBOSH), Project Management Basics (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation or CAPM), Supervisory/ Leadership Training will be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Willing to relocate to the Middle East.
Responsibilities:
- Schedules and oversees maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment and facilities are properly serviced and operational.
- Plan, prioritise, and coordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
- Assign tasks to maintenances staff and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Monitor maintenance requests and track progress through a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient service and minimal downtime.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during all maintenance operations.
- Track inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies; initiate procurement when necessary.
- Monitor equipment performance and support asset management strategies, including replacements or upgrades.
- Assist in maintenance budgeting and cost control.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with standards.
- Support and train maintenance staff in proper procedures, documentation, and safety practices.
