Key Responsibility Areas
- Maintain, Control and operate the server and application security systems and infrastructure.
- Implement IT security systems and fault management support procedures for assigned systems.
- Monitor IT systems.
- Analyse logs to help the Municipality by being proactive in its security methodology.
- Monitor the security posture of IT systems and advice on weaknesses identified and provide recommendations for improvements.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related field and an Information Security related certificate.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 3 years relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related field and an Information Security related certificate.
- 4 years relevant experience.
