SALARY PACKAGE: Post Level 3 (R496 442,88) per annum. Additional benefits attached to the position are as follows: (i) (i) Fixed Travelling Allowance of R16 548.09 per month, subject to the employee presenting a vehicle to be used for business purposes; (ii) R500.00 per month towards Cellphone use; (iii) Medical aid cover is subsidized by 60% of the total contribution for family members; (iv) Pension fund contribution by Municipality is 18% of basic salary; (v) Housing subsidy is available on repayment of a bond provided that the house is registered in the name of the employee. QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 plus National Diploma or B.Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification; valid driver's license. Professional Registration will be an added advantage. EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years' credible experience in the relevant field. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Plan, design and supervise roads and stormwater projects with consultants. Plan, measure and design extensions to the existing roads and stormwater. Compile planned/preventative maintenance schedules for the roads and stormwater section and related administration. Inspect work done to assure quality control over projects. Determine scope of work to be done, timeframes and human resources requirements. Address escalated queries. Compile reports as required.
