The South African National Energy Development Institute (Sanedi) was established in 2011 under the National Energy Act, 2008 (Act No. 34 of 2008). The Act provides for Sanedi to direct, monitor, and conduct energy research and development, promote energy research and technology innovation as well as undertake measures to promote energy efficiency throughout the economy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
- Accredited and registered Grade C or B Security Certification (PSIRA) with own licensed firearm.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security industry.
- Minimum Valid Code B Driver’s License with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Basic Computer literacy.
- Preferably with Safety or Emergency Response Training.
- Clean criminal record and willingness to undergo regular criminal checks.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge of PSIRA regulations and code of conduct.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of road rules and regulations.
- Communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Adaptability and resilience.
