Job Advert Summary
- We are currently recruiting for an Area Manager within the cleaning sector.
- The area manager is responsible to manage the operational function and client relationships in line with the client service agreements and contractual undertakings per site.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- Tertiary Qualifications will be advantageous
- 6 years Industrial Cleaning Management Experience in a similar environment
- Own Vehicle and drivers licence a must
- Must be client centric
- Good communication skills
- Organisational Skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and monitor the functional operations at each site
- Responsible for procuring, installation and managing of servicing of specified sites
- Implement and maintain the best practices in all operations within the client organisation for company service offering
- Responsible for ensuring resource allocation achieves maximum utilisation and efficiency of staff time and skill set
- Account for the operational standards at all clients
- Audit on-site services performed to the SLA focusing on addressing client needs
- Conduct and report meetings with site/contract manager and supervisors
- Responsible for all portfolio operational activities including operational problem solving
- Lead and manage contract managers and supervisors
- Enforce a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to statutory safety regulations
- Manage individual and team performance
- Maintain customer relationships, meet customer expectations, and eliminate complaints, concerns and downtime
- Address staff issues and take the required disciplinary actions
- Draft compliance reports for the various sites
- Ensure that timesheets are done efficiently and handed in on-time to the payroll administrator
- Deal with staff complaints and concerns and escalate were necessary
- Provide weekly reports to Operations Manager on progress and problems per site
