Requirements
- Grade 12.
- 1 years experience in the wildlife capture industry will be an added advantage.
- Job-related knowledge of wildlife industry standard operations procedures.
- A valid Code EC driver’s license with a valid PDP.
- Two years of experience in driving code 14 fixed truck or articulated combination truck with trailer (Horse & trailer).
- Willing to work flexible hours e.g. weekends & after hours if and when required.
- Must be in good physical health.
- Understanding of basic principles of Health & Safety.
- Own transport and accommodation (no staff housing is available).
- No criminal record – SAPS Verification will be done.
Responsibilities
- Driving of LDV, trucks, tractors and vehicle trailers as required.
- Transport of animals in compliance with legislation.
- Assist in capture, holding and relocation operation.
- Maintenance of capture vehicles and equipment.
- Care of captured wildlife.
