EThekwini Municipality is a Metropolitan Municipality found in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. Home to the world-famous city of Durban. EThekwini is the largest City in the province and the third largest city in the country. It is a sophisticated cosmopolitan city of over 3 468 088 people. It is known as the home of Africa's best-managed, busiest port and is also a major centre of tourism because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Co-ordinates resource requirements to support operational outcomes detailed in the work programme and agreed service delivery objectives.
- Co-ordinates and controls tasks/ activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.
- Monitors the execution of service related applications associated with the Tyre Workshop.
- Monitors systems and interventions associated with addressing complaints.
- Performs specific administrative tasks/ activities associated with the reporting of activity related information and maintenance of records.
Essential Requirements
- Trade Tested Artisan (Diesel or Petrol or Construction Plant Mechanic).
- Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code EC).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- 4 years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
- Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
- 5 years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
