MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To develop, implement, and maintain prioritised process improvement projects, management information frameworks, and company-wide processes for business mapping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Lead and govern process improvement projects and initiatives
  • Develop and monitor management information frameworks
  • Determine and track project benefits
  • Ensure business process mapping governance
  • To manage stakeholder relations
  • To lead and manage the people in the team

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant business process engineering/business analysis experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Hospital or healthcare environment experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Industrial engineering principles, techniques, and skills (e.g. root cause analysis, statistical analysis, operations research methods, business process re-engineering, etc.)
  • Creative, procedural, and non-procedural design and synthesis of solutions
  • Computers, networks, and information infrastructures for accessing, processing, managing, and storing information
  • Collaboration within a multidiscipline environment
  • Critical awareness of the sustainability and impact of engineering activity on the social, industrial, and physical environment
  • Economics, business management, and project management
  • Relevant Mediclinic policies and procedures
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate
  • Presentation, communication, and facilitation
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in negotiations
