MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To develop, implement, and maintain prioritised process improvement projects, management information frameworks, and company-wide processes for business mapping.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Lead and govern process improvement projects and initiatives
- Develop and monitor management information frameworks
- Determine and track project benefits
- Ensure business process mapping governance
- To manage stakeholder relations
- To lead and manage the people in the team
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant business process engineering/business analysis experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Hospital or healthcare environment experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Industrial engineering principles, techniques, and skills (e.g. root cause analysis, statistical analysis, operations research methods, business process re-engineering, etc.)
- Creative, procedural, and non-procedural design and synthesis of solutions
- Computers, networks, and information infrastructures for accessing, processing, managing, and storing information
- Collaboration within a multidiscipline environment
- Critical awareness of the sustainability and impact of engineering activity on the social, industrial, and physical environment
- Economics, business management, and project management
- Relevant Mediclinic policies and procedures
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate
- Presentation, communication, and facilitation
- Advanced knowledge and experience in negotiations
