Job Advert Summary
- The responsibility of the Clerk: Cashier is to ensure the accurate receiving and recipting of cash from the Drivers on a daily basis and ensuring banking is completed with the relevant security company as per allocated times in the day.
Requirements
- Matric.
- Basic understanding of Accounting Priniciples.
- Previous Work experience in a similur role would be beneficial.
- Must be able to work in a high pressure enviroment and possess good people skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately count and receive money from drivers.
- Capture receipts for drivers, handle queries effieciently.
- Record totals of all transactions.
- Ensure accurate capturing of EFT’s.
- Responsible for Sundry banking.
- Reconcile payments received with driver documentation.
- Prepare cash and documentation for banking daily.
- Responsible for the recon of daily takings to balance against banking.
- Maintain records for audit purposes.
